5LC created beautiful charity donation boxes after choosing from a range of local charities to support. The pupils showed great creativity and thoughtfulness in designing their boxes while learning about the importance of helping others in the community.

Monkeys Class had a fantastic day celebrating National Children’s Day on Friday! 🎉 We spent time learning about children’s rights and why they are so important, before enjoying lots of fun on the inflatables and bouncy castles! 🏰✨ There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy memories made throughout the day!

Year 2 Moneys Class had a fantastic trip to Hazard Alley today! 🚒🚦☎️ The children had a brilliant day learning all about staying safe, including road safety, fire safety, and how to make an emergency 999 call. They were engaged, enthusiastic, and represented the school wonderfully throughout the day. A fun and educational experience for everyone! ⭐

3SB enjoyed their Forest School session yesterday, learning how to safely light a fire and working together outdoors! 🔥🌿

🏏 What a fantastic week for our Year 3 & 4 Cricket Teams! We entered 3 teams into the local competition and could not be prouder of every single pupil who represented our school. 👏 An extra special achievement saw TWO of our teams progress all the way to a Vale vs Vale final — a brilliant reflection of the talent and effort shown by all of our players! 🏆 We are so excited to see what our cricketers can achieve at the county event next term. The After School Club crew have officially given themselves a brand new group name… Please meet… THE FOREST BROS! During our campfire cooking session, the students were busy discussing ideas for what to call their outdoor learning group, and together they proudly decided on “The Forest Bros.” To celebrate, the Forest Bros enjoyed a delicious pancake cooking session over the campfire, trying different toppings and encouraging each other to taste new foods. It was wonderful to see some students, who previously didn’t even like pancakes, discovering new flavours and confidence in trying something different — including honey! One student said: “I will never eat my pancakes without honey from now on… I love honey now!” Each week these amazing explorers work so hard supporting one another, staying safe, building friendships and learning fantastic outdoor skills together.
